Where our spirit meets our matter.
We take spirit and walk it the whole way down, into the body you have been living above, the ordinary day you keep trying to rise out of, the ground you are standing on right now. A view from somewhere above your life is easy to want, and it changes nothing once you are back in the same body, the same bank account, the same fear that was running under the calm the whole time. The change you came for is down here, in the matter of an actual life, and that is where we put spirit to work.
Spirit walked all the way down into the material of a life. We work each of these as its own practice, because this is where a life is actually lived.
A descent like this needs real ground under it, a body of land held and worked over years, not a screen and not an idea. We are building a widening web of them, the Emerald Heart in Boulder at the center, and under all of it the Temple of Life and Death the rest are reaching toward.
The land is only half of it. You are the other half.
The personality is the pot everything cooks in. Put a strong fire under a weak vessel and the work pours onto the floor and burns. We have watched people reach for the depths before they could hold themselves, meet the shadow and break open with no floor underneath. So we build the vessel first, and keep building it, because every depth you reach later asks for more ground than the last.
