Where spirit comes down to live in matter.
A temple, in the old sense, is a vortex. It forms where the abundance at the core of a person meets the abundance of the earth. Inside it, we develop sacred relationship with the land, and learn from the lineages that have kept that relationship alive.
The center of the school. The daily work happens here: the teaching, the practice, the land. Everything we offer is lived here first.
Other ground is already in relationship with the school: land in Costa Rica we are in conversation with, and Gabon, home of the Bwiti and the Mimbara lineage we practice with. At the root of all of them is the Temple of Life and Death: one ground where sacred birth and sacred death are held as one rite, where a person can be received into a body, and prepared to leave one.
